Meet Mrs. Snyder
Professional Background: I graduated from Grove City College (2010) with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Early Childhood Education. I then went on to get my master's degree from Eastern Mennonite University (2017) in Curriculum and Instruction. I am a Pennsylvania state certified teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience at the primary level in Lancaster County public elementary schools. I currently serve as one of the two executive directors of MCA. As one of the founders of MCA, I have been with the program since its inception in 2022.

Favorite Part of Working at MCA: Having all three of my own children attend MCA and experiencing the benefits of schooling through a hybrid program as a parent has been such a blessing! (Another big perk of my job is teaching chapel every Tuesday and Thursday and getting to dig into the Bible with our students).
Family: I live in the Strasburg area with my husband of 14 plus years and our three precious kids, ages 10, 7, and 5.
Hobbies: Reading, spending time at the cabin, creating on my Silhouette machine, embroidery, digital scrapbooking, attending my kids' sporting events, and of course, drinking coffee!
Favorite Verse: Psalm 23 has always been a favorite passage of mine over the years and is a steady reminder of God's faithfulness, especially in the valleys of life.
Fun Facts: I played Rugby in college for four years (and somehow made it through without breaking a single bone!). My grandpa grew up Amish and I grew up in the Mennonite church. I have chickens. I dislike cleaning but love organizing. I love seafood.
