This new program is designed for four and five year old siblings of currently enrolled Mainstay students. The Pre-Kindergarten Program takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the option of half day (8:30 am - 12:00 pm) or full day (8:30 am - 1:00/2:00 pm) enrollment. The heart of this program is to make education easy for families by having all school age children in one location, receiving high quality education from MCA educators. The Pre-K Program is not currently open to the public. Public enrollment begins at the Kindergarten level.

Our Pre-Kindergarten is built upon the premise that being hands on with learning is the best way to learn! Our educators work to build students number sense, phonemic awareness, handwriting, and more through experience based learning. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation for MCA siblings who will be moving onto Kindergarten at MCA by utilizing Abeka's reading program and Singapore Dimensions math program. Unlike the rest of our hybrid program, Pre-K students are not assigned any mandatory at-home assignments. Optional practice items will come home weekly for the Pre-K students who love to join homeschool time with their older siblings on those at-home days but no home assignments are mandatory at the Pre-K level.

Half Day Pre-K students receive all the core instruction in Bible, math and reading during their morning school day. Full Day Pre-K students remain for lunch, recess, and more learning time. After lunch Full Day Pre-K students engage in science and social studies enrichment learning (often a favorite part of our students' days!). ​
