Meet Mrs. Paglia

Professional Background: I graduated from University of Scranton (1999) with a BS in Occupational Therapy. I worked as a registered occupational therapist at LGH followed by Genesis Rehab, until I was blessed with my favorite job of all time, being a mother to my 3 boys.  After many years as a stay at home mom, I returned to the workforce in 2017 as a teacher’s assistant at Apostles Preschool.  In 2024, I joined the Mainstay Christian Academy family and have been abundantly blessed by both amazing staff and MCA families!  

 

Favorite Part of Working at MCA: Having Jesus and the word of God as part of our every day and all we do!  Also getting to work with my best friend!  *(See fun facts)

 

Family: I live in the West Hempfield area with my husband of almost 25 years, 3 boys ages 21 (Luke) and 16 year old twins (Joshua and Canaan), as well as our 2 cats (Max and Ruby) and our dog (Dewie).

Hobbies: Watching my kids in their extra curricular activities, Fitness (walking, lifting weights, and boxing), reading, traveling with my family, and finding cute little coffee shops!  

 

Favorite Verse: Joshua 1:9 is a go to verse for me, and we have used this verse quite often with our boys.

Fun Facts: Andrea (Mrs. Wenger) and I met in 4th grade and have been best friends ever since.  It is so much fun that despite the different roads life has taken us, God has brought us back together in school to work together this time!  I have a brown belt in karate.  I was half a belt away from getting my black belt when I stepped away to participate in school athletics.  My guilty pleasure is the unapologetically cheesy and feel-good movies of Hallmark and GAC!
