Meet Mr. Lambert
Professional Background: I graduated with high honors from Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K-6). For over thirty years, I served as a fifth- and sixth-grade teacher in the Lampeter-Strasburg School District. Throughout my tenure at L-S, I was involved as a coach and statistician for the high-school softball team. I have been teaching at Mainstay Christian Academy since 2023.

Favorite Part of Working at MCA: Most of all, I cherish the personal interactions I have with the Mainstay kids. Here at MCA, I sense that parents, teachers, and students all know that they are part of something really special!

Family: My wife and I currently reside in West Lampeter Township. Our family includes two amazing daughters and an adorable border collie mix.

Hobbies: Personal hobbies include waking up before dawn to walk my dog, exercising and staying actively involved in a variety of sports, and playing my electric bass guitar.

Favorite Verse: Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," reminds us that contentment is tied to one’s faith in Christ, not one’s level of personal success or circumstances, and it assures us the strength to do whatever God calls us to do.

Fun Facts: The summer before I started kindergarten, I broke my leg in a bicycle race. Mrs. Wenger was the first-grade teacher of both of my children. For about a year, I was a gym teacher for kids ranging from 18 months to 5 years of age. I was inducted in the L-S Sports Hall of Fame as part of the staff of a State Champion softball team.
