Meet Ms. Holbut

Professional Background: I graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and a minor in Spanish. I began my career in Chile, South America, as an English teacher for
elementary, middle, and university students. I was also a Paraeducator for learning support and a Kindergarten teacher in the School District of Lancaster.

Favorite Part of Working at MCA: Being able to teach Kindergarten again, but this time in a hybrid homeschool setting. I also really like that I can teach Spanish here!​

Hobbies: I love to tend to our small garden we started this year. I also love playing the guitar sometimes and listening to music. I also love to read the Bible.

Favorite Verse: “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” (Psalms 8:4-5)

Fun Facts: During my student teaching in college, I was able to teach for about two months on the Navajo Native American reservation. I was able to go to the Grand Canyon and ate a goat burger there for the first time! I was also able to visit Machu Picchu when I studied abroad the first time.
